Wonderland is a landscape painting. I found so hard to develop this work, I was stuck and got out of ideas. For this painting, I did not do any sketch beforehand, I found it so difficult to create a painting without preparing and doing research thoroughly.

For working on landscapes, my main use of colours is navy, dark green, green, brown and all sorts of natural colours. Until I was painting Wonderland, I wanted to step out of my comfort zone. I painted mushrooms with vibrant colours. I like how the trees look in the painting, and the neutral colours create a great contrast with the bright colours of the mushrooms. 

I create this work, it is my moment of being confused and out of mind. Psychedelic art is informed by the notion that altered states of consciousness produced by psychedelic drugs are a source of artist inspiration. The mushrooms in my artwork, the use of colours, have a symbol of psychedelic. The mechanism for surrealism is the observance of dreams and the experience of hallucinations.
